Today I finally found nice solution for "family galleries" page - now it features shortcut to all family galeries and small subset of recently updated/sticky galleries that are easy to select and/or change. Solution is based on relatively new "sharegroup" feature provided by Smugmug. Now I hope family and friends will have to jump through fewer hoops to find recent updates relevant for them.
